Krishna Jayaraman Ph.D., President & Chief Executive Officer of GUSA, is a successful entrepreneur with over 20 years of management experience in small and large biotech companies including as the Founder, President & CEO of Gemini Biotech. He has been a consultant and an advisor to a number of biotech companies. He has about 50 publications and 6 patents to his credit.

Michael Hogan Ph. D., Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of GUSA, considered to be an expert in the microarray field and has authored several of the first microarray patents. Prior to GUSA, he has founded four companies that were funded by premier venture companies in the oligonucleotide therapeutics, microarray and applied genomics arena, has 12 awarded patents and 25 pending.

Paul Dunn Ph.D., ASHI Director and HLA Advisor, has 13 years experience in tissue typing and the development of HLA typing technologies. Paul graduated with BSc(hons) in Biochemistry from the University of London and a PhD in Protein Biochemistry from the University of Sussex. Following post-doctoral fellowships at the University of Cambridge in Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering Paul moved into the field of Histocompatibility, firstly in the development of DNA sequencing for HLA Typing at UK Transplant in Bristol UK (1995-2000). Paul was then recruited by The National Blood Service as EFI Director of the tissue typing laboratory and British Bone Marrow Registry in Bristol (2000-2005). In the beginning of 2005 Paul moved to New Zealand as ASHI Director of the National Tissue Typing Laboratory and in July 2008 was recruited by Genomics USA to oversee ASHI certification and to advise on HLA typing and technologies. Paul has more than 50 articles published in the fields of protein biochemistry, gene analysis and expression, HLA typing and transfusion.

Yuriy Fofanov Ph. D., Collaborator on all Bioinformatics related projects including the Phase II Biodefense SBIR, is an Associate Professor at University of Houston. He has extensive expertise in the areas of bioinformatics, computational biology, numerical methods, algorithm design, and software engineering.

Benjamin Adler Ph. D., J. D. Vice President of Intellectual Property, maintains a practice limited to the preparation, prosecution, securement, licensing, and litigation of patent applications and patents in biotechnology and molecular medicine.
